TransAdmin™ – is the robust open architecture application that manages and controls the data centric Fare Logistics TransFare™ fare system suite.  This scalable web based application is designed and developed around an easy to use graphical user interface, and is the one place where the system user has to visit for management, device configuration, and development of reports and data analysis functions.   The TransAdmin™ application is another of the open architecture design applications Fare Logistics is known to provide.

Our TransAdmin™ application is comprised of the following software modules:

• Database
• Reporting
• Configuration
• Management
• Communications

The database engine is Microsoft SQL®, an efficient commercially available database program.  The fully relational database, is the single and only repository for all event and sales data for the TransFare™ system.   From this single data store, the TransAdmin™ modules place and take data to solve their functional and operational needs.

Our industry leading best in class reporting module has numerous packaged reports provided as well as our optional OLAP cube.   Our standard reports have evolved from our work with each of our clients to develop a standard reporting package that will satisfy the most complex data requirement.  All of the reports are available in multiple file formats as well as the ability to export the report data directly to an MS Excel® workbook.  OLAP cube functionality is not typically found within a transit fare system application.  We are proud to be the only fare system provider to present a system solution that employs OLAP cube functionality for in-depth and refined data analysis and mining.

We place the power of control and configure the system with the user.  A user is able to manage nearly all system functionality without a need to have the system developer provide assistance or programming work.  This truly is the pinnacle of open system architecture.  Users are able to download files, re-configure device functionality, modify fare and fare types, query devices, and monitor the status and health of a TransFare™ device.   Transit Agency personnel are able to view each device to review the status of fare media and monies so service personnel are equipped with the spare components and media needed to maintain the device in optimal operating condition.
